After five years as a financial and
sports broadcast journalist, including setting up football’s
Clubcall telephone information services, Peter joined Toyota GB
to run their busy Motorsport PR campaigns.
This was followed by nearly four years in PR consultancy with
London-based Avenue Communications, handling clients including
Mobil, Follett Cars and Bimota Motorcycles.
Peter joined RAC Motoring Services in 1993 as National PR Manager
for Rescue Services, becoming Head of Public Relations towards
the end of his eight years with the organisation.
Peter established Net.Mentor Ltd in 2001, leaving RAC a year later
and combining his strengths and experience with those
of partner and co-Director, Sheila Brill.
Recent work has included mentoring
and leadership development for school Heads, communications
and public sector professionals; developing and managing major on-line
education projects; and delivering media, presentation and
crisis management training to a range of public and private sector
organisations. |

Peter is a Member of the Institute of Public Relations and
the Motor Industry Public Affairs Association. He is also
a Trustee of Sense, the Deafblind and Rubella Association.
Peter holds a BA (Hons) in Politics from York University and
a Postgraduate Diploma in Radio Journalism from City University,
London
