Peter Brill
Born around the corner from the site of the 2012 Olympics, I grew up in East London before heading to York University for a BA(hons) in Politics. This was followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Radio Journalism from City University in London.

My career has taken me in three main directions:
I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and the Motor Industry Public Affairs Association. I’m also a former Trustee of Sense, the Deafblind and Rubella Association, and currently Chairman of Salaam Shalom, the UK’s first Muslim/Jewish radio station.

Born and educated in Glasgow, I have an Education Diploma in Primary Teaching (DCE) from Jordanhill College and a BA (Open University). After starting my teaching career in Glasgow classrooms, I moved down to London, eventually becoming an advisory teacher.

As my career developed I gained expertise in three main areas:
I trained as a Speed Text Operator for RNID (Royal National Institute for the Deaf) and have been a visiting lecturer at the University of West of England’s Social Work degree. I am a member of B.A.A.F. (British Association of Adoption and Fostering).
Voluntary work has included governing body membership at two Bristol schools, with a specialism in staffing issues.
